Jan 11 Scotts photos are amazing especially picture number 2. Great job man and hang in there.

Dec 6 Scott's photos are good, especially the first one. His love for landscapes is obvious, and his shots of cars show he's just like any other teenager or young man who appreciates cars. I hope someone will give him a second chance in life, whether in photography or some other skill.

Dec 4 What I don't understand is the animosity towards the Homeless. Reading some of the comments below makes me angry. Especially the comment on the homeless youth. I've have talked to some homeless youth who are run aways because their parents abused them physically and sexually. Think about it, you're fifteen years old, you had to leave your home and you have nothing. You can't get a job because you are too young without any experience, what are you supposed to do. Homeless people are survivors, whether or not it is from their own doing....they are surviving it. Scott's photos are amazing. Not necessarily because of the framing or lighting (although they are excellent) but because they are his. They are a reflection of himself and the mark he is going to leave on this world. Considering he doesn't have much, at least he has the photographs. Also, Ceder Rapeds is spelled Cedar Rapids and Inhanced is spelled Enhanced.

Mar 26 I don't know what this kid has been through, but he takes photos very well.
Mar 23 Amaizing landscapes!!!!
Mar 21 This kid has talent.
Mar 20 I like the one of the stone man playing chess. That is totally something I would take a picture of.
Mar 16 You can certainly see a contrast to the photos from a teenager and someone who's been at this a long time. More people oriented, more social, more colorful. More vibrant. These photos tell me that the photographer has a bit more optimism and wants to engage.

Mar 13 I noticed by viewing each persons photos, it tells what their interest in life is. Nice work on the landscapes too Scott!
Mar 13 In his landscapes he's framing the horizon low which forces the viewer to notice the vastness of the sky. When I see this my vision is drawn up towards the sky and I feel hope.

Mar 12 When I was on the streets it wasnt my fault. I lived underneath the bridge. I used to hate it when the top sprung a leak. Me and the animals would be trapped. About had to live off of grass.

Mar 12 I see some of the older homeless people and its sometimes easy to see the lives they lived before simply by looking at them. The warn, scarred hands, the permanent limps and arched backs of the former laborers. Its hard to see someone who has worked so hard all their life end up homeless. The young homeless people I have little sympathy for. They knew when they chose their particular lifestyle what was waiting ahead and they chose that path anyway. They made their beds now they can lay in them.

Mar 12 I like the one of the girl flashing her gang sign. Nice.
Mar 12 Professional, maybe not, the composition is ok but I think what you're most impressed with is the moment. They didn't spend 2 hours pitching the shot, it was just there, and it was important, so they took it.

Mar 12 Yep...Scott show's enthusiasm
Mar 12 The smiles and luxury in these pictures reminds me of how much we have in america. Then the expansive landscapes remind me of how far you have to go to get necessities.
Mar 12 I don't see as much of the open emptiness the others portray in their photos here. It makes me think Scott has more of a desire to be included, with the cars and people portrayed. Nice sunset bike rider photo.
Mar 12 this guy isn't homeless because they don't let homeless people get close to young women and nice cars
Mar 12 the bike rider is great. The telephone wire photo and the distance betwen them and the man exhibit a feeling of hopelessness from communication. The chess player with the cars behind him has the camera man on a check mate. National Geographic, come hither
Mar 12 These look as good or even better than your average teen's photos. I really hope that Scott succeeds in getting everything he wants in life. My thoughts are with him. What a lovely project.
Mar 10 To think of our teenagers out on the streets with really no place to go is sad. I look at Scott's photos and see that he wants a nice car and some place to be just like everyone. I hope Scott is working on getting his education and lifting himself up and out of the postition that life has put him in.

Mar 10 As I look at the photos that everyone has taken, I wonder if anyone has seen that some of these people could be professional at this. They could be a real asset if someone would give them a chance and if they would give their selves a chance.

Mar 2 the photo of the bike rider at sunset is awesome. also really like the one of a girl in front of the flag. good work.
